The bill proposes amendments to the Illinois Constitution to limit the terms of State Senators to three, State Representatives to five, and Executive Branch officers to two. Service before January 2025 will not count towards these term limits. The changes will be put to a vote at the next general election at least six months after the bill's adoption.
