Designates a portion of Illinois Route 37 as the "Trooper Frank R. Dunbar Memorial Highway.

This bill designates a portion of Illinois Route 37 north of the City of Benton and south of Lake Benton Road as the "Trooper Frank R. Dunbar Memorial Highway." It honors Trooper Frank R. Dunbar, the first state trooper killed in the line of duty and in a patrol car accident in Southern Illinois. The Illinois Department of Transportation is requested to erect plaques or signs at suitable locations to commemorate this designation. A copy of the resolution will be presented to Trooper Dunbar's family and the Secretary of the Illinois Department of Transportation.
