Illinois SB4187 requires planning commissions to consult with school districts on development plans that may increase enrollment.

Illinois SB4187 amends the Counties Code, Township Code, and Illinois Municipal Code to require planning commissions to consult with school districts on development plans that may increase enrollment. If a development or redevelopment plan created through a planning commission is residential in nature and has the potential to increase enrollment of a school district, the plan must be sent in writing to the school district.
