Appropriates funds from the General Revenue Fund to the Office of the State Appellate Defender for various expenses.

The bill allocates funds from the General Revenue Fund to the Office of the State Appellate Defender for its ordinary and contingent expenses, including personal services, state contributions to social security, contractual services, travel, commodities, printing, equipment, EDP, and telecommunications. It also provides funding for the Expungement Program, statewide training for public defenders, and the development of a Juvenile Defender Resource Center. The appropriations take effect July 1, 2026.
