SB4038 amends the Criminal Code to expand the offense of unauthorized video recording and live video transmission to include unauthorized photographing. It prohibits knowingly making a video record or transmitting live video of or photographing another person in a restroom, tanning bed, tanning salon, locker room, changing room, hotel bedroom, or courthouse without consent or judicial authorization. The bill also prohibits placing or causing to be placed a device that makes a video record or transmits live video of another person in these locations.
