Illinois SB3996, the Foreign Agents Registration Act, requires individuals acting as agents for foreign principals from countries of concern to register with the Attorney General. The Act mandates ongoing updates to these statements every six months. Agents must also maintain detailed records of their activities and financial transactions, which are subject to inspection by enforcement officials.
