SB3952

SB3952 amends the Transportation Network Providers Act to redefine terms, extend insurance coverage, and set operational standards for transportation.

SB3952 amends the Transportation Network Providers Act to redefine terms such as "passenger" to "customer" and "TNC" to include goods delivery services. It removes the repeal date of the Act, ensuring its provisions remain in effect. The bill mandates that TNCs provide automobile liability insurance coverage from the moment a driver logs into the digital network until the completion of a trip. It also requires TNCs to adopt non-discrimination policies and implement a zero-tolerance policy for drug and alcohol use by drivers.
