SB3759

SB3759 mandates school boards to create policies prohibiting school personnel from using showering or bathing facilities accessible to students.

SB3759 amends the School Code to require school boards to establish policies that bar school personnel from using showering or bathing facilities accessible to students during school hours. The policy must ensure no student is present or nearby when staff use these facilities. School personnel must adhere to professional conduct and dress codes during physical activities. Violations of the policy may result in corrective actions, including counseling or retraining.
