Extends the repeal of the Illinois Procurement Code until January 1, 2030.

Illinois SB3736 extends the repeal of the Illinois Procurement Code, which was previously set to be repealed on January 1, 2027, to January 1, 2030. The bill also amends the Design-Build Procurement Act to change the jurisdiction of the chief procurement officer for construction procurements within the Department of Central Management Services. The chief procurement officer for construction-related services for the Department of Central Management Services will also have jurisdiction over construction procurements for the department. The bill takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
