SB3662 amends the Illinois Procurement Code to exempt specific procurement expenditures from its requirements. These include procurements for the Illinois Emergency Management Agency and Office of Homeland Security to respond to radiological incidents, monitor nuclear power plants, or use at nuclear facilities. The bill also exempts procurements necessary for the Department of Agriculture, the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, the Department of Human Services, and the Department of Public Health to implement the Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Program and Opioid.
