Restores sentencing guidelines for individuals with prior felony firearm-related or other specified convictions.

SB3516 amends the Unified Code of Corrections to reinstate sentencing guidelines for individuals with prior felony firearm-related or other specified convictions, which were repealed on January 1, 2004. The bill applies to offenses committed on or after the effective date of the amendatory Act. It eliminates the sunset provision and makes conforming changes to the Criminal Code of 2012.
