Illinois SB3485 amends the Department of Central Management Services Law to establish the Disability Benefits Maximization Program. Within six months of the Act's effective date, the Department of Central Management Services, in collaboration with state retirement systems, will contract with an experienced administrator. The Program will identify and assist annuitants, retirees, benefit recipients, survivors, and dependents who are eligible for but not enrolled in Social Security Disability Insurance and Medicare.
