Illinois SB3393 amends the Fire Sprinkler Contractor Licensing Act by requiring fire sprinkler contractors to complete at least 16 hours of continuing education every two years. The Office of the State Fire Marshal must prepare a report evaluating the effectiveness and industry impacts of these continuing education requirements, including recommendations for statutory or rule changes, to be delivered to the General Assembly by December 31, 2026.
