Illinois SB3346 amends the Firearm Owners Identification Card Act to prohibit the Illinois State Police from revoking FOID cards. The bill specifies that FOID cards may only be revoked after a hearing in the circuit court of the cardholder's county of residence. The Illinois State Police may suspend FOID cards for up to 45 days, but must schedule a revocation hearing within 45 days. The bill also establishes a Firearm Owner's Identification Card Review Board to consider appeals of FOID card denials or revocations.
