Illinois SB3327 mandates public schools to include Latin American studies in their curriculum.

Illinois SB3327 amends the School Code to require every public elementary and high school to include in its curriculum the study of the contributions made by Latin Americans to the economic, cultural, social, and political development of the United States. The instruction must cover the events of the Latine experience and Latin American history, including contributions made by Latin Americans.
