Illinois SB3325 amends the Department of Professional Regulation Law to allow courses on perimenopause and menopause to count toward the implicit bias training requirement for healthcare professionals. Effective January 1, 2027, these courses can fulfill the one-hour training requirement for implicit bias awareness. The bill also defines "perimenopause" and "menopause" and allows training on implicit bias awareness to meet other state licensure or certification requirements.
