Establishes the SNAP Response Working Group to analyze federal changes to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and their impact on Illinois.

The bill creates the SNAP Response Working Group to evaluate the effects of federal changes to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) on Illinois residents. The Working Group will analyze the potential impact of these changes, including the number of people who may lose access to SNAP benefits and the economic impact on the state. The group will also project the cost to maintain SNAP in Illinois for federal Fiscal Year 2028. The Working Group will submit a preliminary report by January 1, 2027, and a full report by April 1, 2027, to the General Assembly.
