SB3256 amends the General Not For Profit Corporation Act of 1986 to modify filing requirements for nonprofit corporations in Illinois.

SB3256 amends the General Not For Profit Corporation Act of 1986 by changing the requirements for executing and filing documents with the Secretary of State. Specifically, it mandates that filings reflecting changes in the composition of the corporation's directors or officers, or changes in the registered agent, must be signed by at least three directors or officers. If no previous director or officer signs the filing, it must be accompanied by an acknowledgment made before a person authorized to take acknowledgments of deeds.
