Illinois SB3094 amends the Criminal Code to restrict child sex offenders from engaging in certain activities and being present in specific locations.

Illinois SB3094 amends the Criminal Code to impose restrictions on child sex offenders. It prohibits these offenders from knowingly being present in any public park, playground, or recreation area when children under 18 are present. They are also barred from residing within 500 feet of a school, day care center, or facility providing programs or services to children under 18.
