Illinois SB3066 amends the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act by adding a new section that requires service providers to schedule appointments and provide reasonable notice of arrival times for services requiring consumer presence or entry into their dwelling. If the provider fails to meet these requirements or arrives more than 30 minutes past the stated time, they cannot charge the consumer any fee or additional charge. A violation of this provision is considered an unlawful practice under the Act.
