SB3057

Illinois SB3057 mandates standardized reporting protocols for election data to streamline reporting and interfacing with voter registration lists.

Illinois SB3057 amends the Election Code to require the State Board of Elections to adopt standardized reporting protocols for election data. These protocols must include standardization conventions for data fields related to election districts, precincts, and polling places. The Board must publish guidelines for compliance by July 1, 2027. Starting with the 2028 general primary election, election authorities must ensure all relevant data conforms to these guidelines 75 days before each election.
