SB2870 modifies the Illinois Administrative Procedure Act to change how administrative decisions are served and notified. It requires that parties, their attorneys, or their agents appointed to receive service of process must be notified and provided a copy of the decision or order either personally, by registered or certified mail, by email, or as otherwise provided by law. The decision must also be sent to the party's attorney or agent.
