SB2806 amends the Private Detective, Private Alarm, Private Security, Fingerprint Vendor, and Locksmith Act of 2004 by reducing the size of the Board from 13 to 12 members. The Board will consist of 2 licensed private detectives, 3 licensed private security contractors, one licensed private alarm contractor, one licensed fingerprint vendor, one licensed locksmith, one public member, and one employee representative. Members will serve 4-year terms, with a majority required to form a quorum. The Board may recommend policies and procedures for the administration and enforcement of the Act.
