SB2806 amends the Private Detective, Private Alarm, Private Security, Fingerprint Vendor, and Locksmith Board membership.

SB2806 modifies the composition of the Private Detective, Private Alarm, Private Security, Fingerprint Vendor, and Locksmith Board by reducing its membership from 13 to 12 individuals. The Board will now include 2 licensed private detectives, 3 licensed private security contractors, one licensed private alarm contractor, 2 licensed locksmiths, one public member, and one employee representative. Members will serve 4-year terms and can be reappointed for up to two successive terms. The Board will elect a chairperson and vice-chairperson annually, and a majority vote is required for decisions.
