SB2753 amends the Illinois Vehicle Code to adjust vehicle emissions inspection schedules and criteria.

SB2753 modifies the Illinois Vehicle Code to change the inspection schedule for vehicles to every two years, starting in the sixth calendar year after the vehicle model year. It also allows for interim inspection stickers for vehicles acquired by new owners who have not yet obtained a compliance certificate. The bill exempts certain vehicles from inspection, including motorcycles, farm vehicles, antique vehicles, and those primarily used outside affected counties.
