SB2712

IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT ACT

Introduced·10/14/25
Introduced Text

Immigration Enforcement Act regulates immigration enforcement on campuses, sharing of ALPR data, and access to health care facilities.

The Immigration Enforcement Act mandates that every school district review and update its safety plans to notify students, faculty, and staff of immigration enforcement presence on campus. It restricts the sharing of Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) data by law enforcement agencies, requiring them to obtain a police report and limiting data retention to 15 days. Health care provider entities must designate nonpublic areas and restrict access to these areas for immigration enforcement purposes without a valid judicial warrant or court order.
