Illinois SB2703 amends the Child Labor Law of 2024 to allow minors to work in family businesses. The bill permits minors to work outside of school hours in businesses where their parent or legal guardian owns at least 51% and the business employs no more than 50 employees. The law also allows minors to work as officiants or assistant instructors in youth sports activities under specific conditions.
