SB2664 amends the Firearm Owners Identification Card Act to create a process for expedited review of applications and appeals for firearm owner's identification cards. The Illinois State Police must deny or revoke a person's card if they pose a clear and present danger. The Firearm Owner's Identification Card Review Board can grant relief if certain conditions are met, such as the person not being a threat to public safety. The Board must establish a process for expedited review by January 1, 2026.
