Illinois SB2490 amends the Illinois Gambling Act to prohibit the Illinois Gaming Board from issuing licenses to conduct Internet gaming if the applicant or any of its affiliates knowingly accepts revenue from jurisdictions on the Black List of Money Laundering Countries or from any jurisdiction designated by the United States as a state sponsor of terrorism. If the Board determines that a licensee is accepting such revenue, it must impose a penalty of license revocation after notice and an opportunity for hearing. This Act takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
