Illinois SB2326 mandates park districts to install fencing around playgrounds in high-traffic urban areas.

Illinois SB2326 requires every park district to install fencing around playgrounds located on land they own or control if the playground is in a high-traffic urban area. The Chicago Park District is also mandated to install such fencing for playgrounds in high-traffic urban areas of Cook County. The bill defines "playground" as an improved outdoor area designed for children's play, excluding athletic fields.
