SB2309 amends the Rivers, Lakes, and Streams Act to change the fund where permit fees and penalty fees are deposited. Previously, these fees were deposited into the State Boating Act Fund. Now, they will be deposited into the Water Resources Fund. The Water Resources Fund can use these fees for ordinary and contingent expenses. The bill also sets a maximum fee of $5,000 per application for permits issued under this Act.
