Extends the duration of business certifications for minorities, women, and persons with disabilities in Illinois to a minimum of 5 years.
SB2302 amends the Business Enterprise for Minorities, Women, and Persons with Disabilities Act to extend the duration of certifications granted under the Act to a minimum of 5 years. Certified vendors must notify the Program of any changes in business status or ownership that could affect their certification. Program staff must inform vendors at least 6 months before their certification expires.
