Illinois SB2155 amends the Illinois Gambling Act to exempt individuals hired exclusively for non-gaming functions from occupational licensing requirements. The Illinois Gaming Board is prohibited from requiring these individuals to hold an occupational license. The Board may issue a non-gaming identification badge upon payment of a non-refundable annual fee. To be eligible for this badge, individuals must be at least 18 years old, pass a background check, and pass an annual background check.
