Illinois SB2109 amends the Probate Act of 1975 to address the handling of assets for persons with disabilities. It mandates that upon a petition by a representative of a ward, the court must issue a citation for the appearance of any financial institution believed to have improperly withheld or concealed the assets of a person with a disability. The citation must be served at least 10 days before the return day, and notice must be given to the personal representative at least 5 days before the return day.
