Introduced·2/6/25
Introduced Text

SB2067 amends the Election Code to standardize the format of candidate names on primary election ballots.

SB2067 amends the Election Code to standardize the format of candidate names on primary election ballots. It mandates that candidate names be printed in both capital and lowercase letters, in compliance with standard English language guidelines, unless the election system used by the election authority makes this impractical. The bill also specifies that the names of candidates for Governor and Lieutenant Governor should be printed within a bracket, with a single square printed in front of the bracket.
