Illinois SB1969 amends the Illinois Affordable Housing Act to require the Illinois Housing Development Authority, in collaboration with the Department of Human Services, to place social services workers in senior housing projects. For housing projects with 12 or fewer senior residents, one social services worker must be available full-time for two days each week. For projects with more than 12 senior residents, at least two social services workers must be available full-time for three days each week.
