SB1950 amends the Sanitary Food Preparation Act to subject food distribution facilities to health regulations.

SB1950 amends the Sanitary Food Preparation Act by adding a new section that subjects food distribution facilities to all provisions of the Act and rules adopted under the Act. These facilities include warehouses or other storage locations where food is collected, stored, packaged, or distributed to consumers. The registered sanitarian of the county health department where the facility is located has the power to enforce and observe the rules and orders of the Department of Public Health and the provisions of this Section.
