Illinois SB1904 amends the Election Code to expand the State Board of Elections' duties.

SB1904 amends the Election Code to expand the State Board of Elections' duties, including imposing campaign disclosure penalties, hearing and adjudicating registration violations, revoking or suspending raffle licenses of political committees that violate the Raffles and Poker Runs Act, and informing the Attorney General or the State's Attorney of credible alleged criminal violations. The Board will also disseminate information to election authorities, consult with them, and prepare manuals of uniform instructions for elections.
