SB1815 amends the State Officials and Employees Ethics Act to strengthen prohibitions on state officials and employees accepting employment from certain entities within a year of leaving office. It prohibits former officers and employees from accepting employment from entities they participated in awarding contracts or regulatory decisions. It also prohibits them from accepting employment from entities they regulated or licensed. The bill creates the Executive Ethics Commission and the Legislative Ethics Commission to oversee ethics violations and impose penalties.
