Illinois SB1652 amends the Developmental Disability and Mental Disability Services Act to allow the Department of Human Services to exceed funding limits for home-based services for adults with mental disabilities if their needs require a higher level of funding. The bill specifies that funding may exceed the limits if the individual is not enrolled in a special education program or if they are enrolled and the funding is up to 200% of the monthly Supplemental Security Income payment for an individual residing alone.
