SB1583 amends the School Code to enable the State Superintendent of Education to designate regional offices of education or intermediate service centers as learning partners. These partners will provide support to schools identified for improvement under the accountability system and the Targeted, Comprehensive, or Intensive definitions. The State Superintendent can revoke the learning partner status at their discretion. This change takes effect July 1, 2025.
