Waives fees and bonds for electronic notaries in Illinois for two years.

The bill amends the Illinois Notary Public Act to waive the $25 fee and $25,000 bond for electronic notaries for two years. It also waives the $5,000 bond for electronic notaries performing remote notarizations via audio-video communication, requiring only the $25,000 bond. If both bonds are required, a single $30,000 bond will suffice. The changes take effect immediately upon becoming law.
