Illinois SB1564 mandates a special scratch-off lottery game for developmental disabilities services if a game is discontinued.

Illinois SB1564 amends the Illinois Lottery Law to require the Illinois Lottery to offer a special instant scratch-off game if a current scratch-off game is discontinued. The net revenue from this special game will be deposited into the Illinois Developmental Disabilities Services Scratch-Off Fund. This fund will provide grants for services by Independent Service Coordination agencies. The special game will operate for five years. The bill also makes conforming changes in the Department of Human Services Act and the State Finance Act.
