SB1452 amends the School Code to authorize the Chicago Board of Education to set compensation for its members through a resolution. The bill also modifies the nomination process for Board members, reducing the required number of signatures on nominating petitions for the 2026 general election and beyond. The Board may reimburse members for expenses incurred while performing their duties.
