SB1447 amends the Counties Code to allow Kane County to lease real estate for athletic purposes if it was used for such purposes before the county acquired it. The lease must allow any organization that used the land at the time the lease is executed to continue to use the land for the leased purposes during the term of the lease. The lessor must also continue to employ, in the same capacity, any persons who provided services on the land at the time the lease is executed. The lease must be approved by a three-fourths vote of the full county board.
