SB1368 expands the Military Veterans Assistance Act to allow multi-county Veterans Assistance Commissions.

SB1368 amends the Military Veterans Assistance Act to permit the formation of multi-county Veterans Assistance Commissions. These commissions can be formed by veteran service organizations located in two or more adjacent counties with a population of 60,000 or less. The agreement establishing such a commission must specify the distribution of funding, office location, services provided, superintendent selection process, rules and policies, and the composition of delegates and alternates.
