Illinois SB1364 amends the Property Owned By Noncitizens Act to prohibit noncitizens from owning agricultural land if they are from countries subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulation. Prohibited foreign parties must divest their agricultural land within two years. The Office of Agricultural Intelligence within the Department of Agriculture will collect and analyze information concerning the unlawful sale or possession of agricultural land by prohibited foreign parties and enforce the provisions of the Act.
