Illinois SB1273 amends the Community Behavioral Health Care Professional Loan Repayment Act to include licensed occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants in the list of health care professionals eligible for grants. The Illinois Student Assistance Commission can award grants of up to $15,000 per year for up to four years, subject to appropriation. The bill also reserves at least 30% of the funding for minority applicants.
