Illinois SB1243 amends the General Assembly Organization Act to prohibit either house of the General Assembly from considering or voting on any legislation between the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on any day of the week during any regular or special session, unless approved by the leaders of each of the caucuses of that house. This restriction applies to the 104TH GENERAL ASSEMBLY of the State of Illinois for the years 2025 and 2026. The act takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
