SB1213 amends the Firearm Concealed Carry Act by removing the prohibition on carrying firearms on public transportation and in certain public buildings. The bill allows concealed carry in public transportation facilities, including buses and trains, and in buildings under the control of public transportation authorities. It also removes restrictions on carrying firearms in various public buildings, such as those under the control of public or private schools, hospitals, and government entities. The bill takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
