Affected products include cookware, cosmetics, dental floss, juvenile products, menstrual products, intimate apparel, and food packaging or food contact products. Violators face civil penalties of up to $5,000 for the first violation and up to $10,000 for each subsequent violation. The Attorney General or State's Attorney can enforce the Act by bringing an action in court.
